1) Not be an asshole. We have a comprehensive mail-in form that we test by scantron to determine whether you are an ass or not. You will receive it within two weeks of joining.
2) Type in a fashion that I can understand what the hell you are saying. If we can't figure out what you are saying 90% of the time, then you will probably not be allowed to join. If you speak Spanish, this is American internets, speak American.
3) Use your account when you log into Teamspeak. All the relevant info for that has been posted by Biz in the subforum above.

Just been browsing around L4D videos and groups because I've been looking to get taken into a clan for quite a while and this community seems friendly enough for me to (possibly) fit right in!
I'm guessing you want a little information first, so hi, my name is Sean and I come from the UK, Newcastle to be more specific.
I've still got my youth at 18 (though the people I've played with before make me feel old) and my two top preferred steam games I tend to play are TF2 and L4D (out of those two, I'm a fanboy for L4D) and I spend my days as a freelance web designer and traceur.
If you want me to blow my own trumpet, I'll say that I'm quite experienced with L4D and I want to find a community that I can stick to so I can share and learn more!
As for the questions,
1) Not up to me to decide whether I'm an ass or not, but i treat those how I expect to be treated (that is, nice, friendly and sociable)
2) CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THE WORDS THAT ARE COMING OUT OF MY MOUTH?!
(Should be no problem, being English and all :P)
3) Also, not a problem. Already own teamspeak and, from my WoW days (don't go there, really), I know how to use it. (I also own a Mic, so no problems there).

Welcome Bladescope!
Awesome to have another experienced L4D player. We just got our own server a couple weeks ago (as I'm sure you've read), so that makes it even cooler.
I'm sure you'll fit right in. We have quite the European contingent, with some folks there in the U.K.
I'll send you your TeamSpeak login credentials via forum PM today (I'm at work, so bear with me).
I look forward to seeing you in TS and in-game. :)

Out of curiosity, which video? Those are always a good deal of fun to help with. Most of the real work on 'em gets done by Mo and Mandelazza though!
Like Biz said, I'll look forward to catching you on TeamSpeak and in-game relatively soon, hopefully. Maybe we can talk shop, I do a decent amount of design-work myself. More on the Print/Graphic side than the Web side, but there's always some overlap.

I go be the steam name as Bladescope if you would like to have a chat/game of anything, but I can't tonight. At work :(.
As for the video? Mookalokka's Left 4 Dead - Smoker Basics (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOfBR6u5nlk) was the video that pointed the way (in the description).
As for the web designing, my strength comes from my coding, not my graphics (which is another way of saying I'm not that good of a graphic designer xP )

Hahaha, damnit! I knew it would have been Mo's videos. No one ever notices mine :(. Maybe cuz I'm Swedish..haha xD. I seriosly don't know why I get so few wievs, have like 25 videos, but noo!

If you go to "add friend" and type in his email address, an email will be sent to him. And then he will accept you...At least I think so :P. That's what I did^^

Yeah, but that's for people that don't have Steam, really. We should be able to add him by the e-mail address he registered with Steam or the nick he goes by in Steam.
